The Winter Age Group Championships 2024 concluded at the National Sports Center Pool, with strong performances in the senior divisions headlined by wins for Marleigh Howes, Gaby Cechini, Logan Jones, and Sam Williamson.
The Women 15 & Over 100 SC Meter Backstroke saw Marleigh Howes secure the top spot, touching the wall with a time of 1:08.94. She was followed by Elanna Fulton in second place with 1:10.58, and Jorgia White in third with 1:17.73.
In the men's equivalent, Logan Jones claimed victory in the Men 15 & Over 100 SC Meter Backstroke with a time of 1:07.12. Joseph Lau finished closely behind in second with 1:08.05, and Noah Fulton took third place with 1:11.48.
The Women 15 & Over 200 SC Meter Freestyle was won by Gaby Cechini, who recorded a time of 2:11.21. Jorgia White secured her second podium finish of the day by placing second in 2:15.04, just ahead of Elanna Fulton in third with 2:15.37.
The final senior individual event, the Men 15 & Over 100 SC Meter Individual Medley (IM), was a close contest. Sam Williamson edged out the field to claim the win with a time of 58.68 seconds. Connor Hupman finished second, clocking under a minute with 59.81, and Axel Wernbo rounded out the podium in third place with 1:07.54.
