Ralph Scott and his IMG Academy Men's Basketball teammates secured a hard-fought 74-66 victory over Corner Canyon in a nonregional game played at Pleasant Grove High School, using a dominant third quarter to secure the win.
The game was tightly contested until IMG Academy unleashed a powerful surge in the third period. The team outscored the Corner Canyon Chargers 26-11 during the quarter, creating the decisive lead that ultimately secured their victory.
Trey Beamer led the offensive charge for IMG Academy, finishing as the game's top scorer for his side with 22 points, which included three successful three-pointers. Bermudian forward Ralph Scott contributed 6 points to the winning effort.
For the Chargers, Josh Tolman led the scoring with 20 points, while Tyler Mortensen added 19 points, including three 3-pointers, but their efforts were not enough to overcome IMG Academy's dominant third-quarter performance.
