The 7th Caribbean Development Championship 2025 has officially commenced in Trinidad & Tobago, with Bermuda's young archers facing their first round of international competition.
The event saw the Bermudian contingent competing in their respective divisions, with results compiled after 72 arrows.
In the Recurve Beginner Under-15 Women’s category, Sophia Davidge delivered the strongest performance for the island, securing sixth place with a total of 302 points. Her teammate, Aurora Bowers, finished the initial round in eleventh place with 150 points.
In the Recurve Developmental Under-15 Men’s division, Braeden Fraser put forward a very strong showing, finishing in fourth position with an impressive score of 552 points, placing him firmly in contention.
Meanwhile, in the Barebow Developmental Senior Men’s category, Damon Watson finished the opening round in sixth place, recording a score of 362 points.
The results provide a solid starting point for the Bermuda team, who are competing against over 260 archers from across the region in this key development tournament.
