The McDaniel College men's golf team, featuring first-year talent Dylan Muso, concluded the fall portion of their schedule with a solid sixth-place finish at The Melee at Ford's Colony Country Club, driven by top-ten finishes from senior Charlie Dolan and sophomore Jack Manfre.
The Green Terror posted a final-round score of 301 on Monday, resulting in a two-day total of 598. Christopher Newport won the team title comfortably with a 579, six strokes ahead of second-place Bridgewater (Va.).
Charlie Dolan led the charge for McDaniel, finishing in eighth place individually with a 146. The senior matched his opening round with a 2-over par 73, highlighting his consistency with ten pars and three birdies.
Jack Manfre also delivered a strong performance, climbing to finish 10th with a career-low 36-hole score of 147. Manfre mirrored Dolan's final round with a 73, helped by three birdies and eleven pars.
Senior Sean Kelly and Bermuda golfer Muso finished tied for 31st with total scores of 154. Kelly shot a 78 in the final round, while Muso carded an 80. Senior Ethan Crabb improved by four strokes on the day, shooting a 77 to finish 42nd with a 158.
The team has now concluded their 2025-26 fall schedule and will return to action in March.
