The Bermuda Volleyball Association (BVA) is proud to announce its continued participation at the North America, Central America, and the Caribbean (NORCECA) Beach Volleyball Tour at this eighth stage taking place this weekend, September 12th - 14th in San Salvador, El Salvador.

The NORCECA Beach Volleyball Tour is the premier competition circuit for North America, Central America, and the Caribbean, offering valuable international experience and ranking opportunities for participating nations.

Bermuda will be represented by Kyle Hamilton and Sean Tucker who are not new to the international stage. Although Hamilton & Tucker have trained together as part of the Bermuda National Men’s Beach Team for several years, this will mark only the second time they have competed together internationally, with the first being in Costa Rica in 2024. Their partnership this season, brings a fresh dynamic and continues to spotlight the Bermuda’s National beach volleyball program.

Hamilton and Tucker will take on teams from other countries within the region including: Costa Rica, Canada, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Puerto Rico, United States, and Venezuela

So far in 2025, the Bermuda Men’s National Beach Volleyball Team has competed in several events, but this is only the second on the NORCECA Beach Tour. With plans to attend at least two more stops this season, the BVA is proud to help these athletes gain valuable experience, with the pairing of Hamilton and Tucker underscoring the Bermuda Volleyball Association’s commitment to developing athletes and increasing Bermuda’s presence on the international stage.

Meagan McPeek, Assistant Coach of the Men’s National Beach Team said “It will be exciting to see these athletes, who have pushed each other in training for years, as teammates. Kyle Hamilton has continued to develop as an impressive vertical as a blocker, and although only 24 years old, Sean Tucker is a smart, seasoned defender. They both have several international competitions under their belt and are excited to test themselves against these strong international teams.”

McPeek added, “This is an important step for both players and for Bermuda’s National Beach program as it continues to grow. Every competition sharpens our skills and builds momentum for the future of beach volleyball in Bermuda.”

Co-President Lisa Leblanc noted “After a long season of training and perseverance, this men's duo is ready to embrace this next challenge at this NORCECA Tour Stop. I look forward to watching their progress unfold and leveraging their lessons learned to scaffold accomplishments throughout the tournament”.
