 Jediah Cumbermack IslandStats.com Bermuda's young riders Aeziah Divine and Jediah Cumbermack have been in action at Donington Park, with both showing promising form in the practice sessions for the British Superbikes.
Competing in the R&G British Talent Cup, Divine made a strong improvement from his first practice to his second. He finished 19th in the Free First Practice with a fastest lap time of 1:43.646. He then cut over a second off his time in the Free Second Practice, finishing 16th with a fastest lap of 1:42.124. The R&G British Talent Cup is part of the "Road to MotoGP™" program, designed to develop future stars of the sport.
In the AJN Steelstock Kawasaki British Superteen Class, Jediah Cumbermack showed his potential with a strong top-ten finish. He finished seventh in his Free Practice with a fastest lap time of 1:41.957. The Superteen Class is a new championship for young riders, focused on rider ability with all competitors riding identical Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RRs.
Both riders will be looking to build on these solid practice sessions as they head into the main races this weekend at Donington Park.
