Bermudian basketball prospect Ralph Scott has taken a hard look at the University of Houston, one of the most successful college basketball programs in America.
Scott’s outstanding performances throughout his time at IMG Academy and various summer tournaments have clearly not gone unnoticed. He has reportedly drawn significant interest, receiving several Division 1 offers from top college and university coaches across the country including the University of Houston, a testament to his all-around game and consistent impact.
The University of Houston men’s basketball program, under the guidance of Head Coach Kelvin Sampson, competes in the Big 12 Conference. The Cougars have a rich basketball history, with 26 NCAA tournament appearances, 22 conference championships, and several players and a coach elected to the Basketball Hall of Fame.
A 6-foot-8 small forward, Scott has seen his national ranking soar this summer after a series of standout performances, including being named MVP of the 2025 Basketball Without Borders Americas camp. His decision to join Houston, a program known for its defensive toughness and development of professional talent, is a significant step in his journey to the highest level of the sport.
