The Bermuda Volleyball Association (BVA) successfully hosted its first-ever National Beach Volleyball Championships at Coral Beach, with Hailey Moss and Amber Simons taking the women’s title, and Kyle Hamilton and Chris Fricke claiming the men’s crown.
The landmark event, which took place on the Southshore venue, showcased the island's top talent in the sport.
Women's Division
The Women’s Final saw the experienced duo of Hailey Moss and Amber Simons crowned as the inaugural champions. Both players have a history of representing Bermuda internationally in both beach and indoor volleyball. They overcame a strong field that included runners-up Kayley Hamilton and Natalie Gazzard, followed by Kayla Grant and Gaia Corbetta in third, and Olivia Gazzard and Anna Marcott in fourth.
Men's Division
In the Men’s Final, Kyle Hamilton and his partner Chris Fricke secured the title. Hamilton's recent experience on the international stage, having competed in the 2025 NORCECA Beach Volleyball Tour in Mexico with his partner Connor Somerville, clearly paid off. The team defeated Sean Tucker and Ben Barnett in the Final. Braedon Madeiros-Cooke and Connor Somerville finished third, while Marcus Rodrigues and Josh Wilson took fourth place.
The championships mark a significant milestone for the BVA and the growth of Beach Volleyball on the island.
