Bermuda's Under-15 Boys' National Team have secured their first victory at the 2025 Concacaf Boys’ Under-15 Championships in spectacular fashion, coming from two goals down to defeat Barbados 3-2.
After a hard-fought scoreless draw against Antigua and Barbuda in their opening match, Bermuda went into their second game at the Stadion CD Jose Wever in Aruba with a determination to capitalize on their performance. However, they found themselves on the back foot early on, as Barbados took a two-goal lead within the first 27 minutes.
Just before the break, Bermuda found a lifeline. A long ball forward found Kaiyuri Albouy, who outpaced his marker and slotted the ball through the goalkeeper’s legs to make it 2-1 heading into halftime.
The young Bermuda team continued to press in the second half, and their efforts were rewarded in the 64th minute. A corner kick caused chaos in the Barbados defence, and the ball dropped to Jčon Wolfe, whose shot found the side netting to level the scores at 2-2.
Following a lengthy delay due to an injury to a Bermudian player, the drama continued into stoppage time. A long throw-in once again proved problematic for the Barbadian defence, and substitute Carter Thomas pounced on a bouncing ball to score from close range, earning Bermuda a memorable 3-2 comeback victory.
