After recent disruptions due to inclement weather, the Bermuda Inline Ball Hockey season roared back into action at the PCC Hockey Rink with a high-scoring double header that delivered a total of 22 goals for enthusiastic fans.
Hyannisport Presidents 7 Broome County Blades 5
In the opener, the Hyannisport Presidents emerged victorious in a hard-fought contest, defeating the Broome County Blades 7-5.
The Presidents' attack was spearheaded by Alex Larouche and Ryan Bates, who both netted two goals apiece. Contributions also came from Kyan Oakley, Chris LeMieux, and Eric Walker, who each added a goal to the score.
For the Broome County Blades, Jeff Ingelman and Josh Wilson both scored two goals, with Richard Campbell adding their fifth.
Charlestown Chiefs 6 Long Island Ducks 4
The excitement continued into the nightcap, which saw an impressive ten goals scored as the Charlestown Chiefs defeated the Long Island Ducks 6-4.
The Chiefs' victory was built on sensational offensive performances, with Marcel Bouwens and James Amaral both securing hat-tricks. For the Long Island Ducks, Jake Fenske and Hart Freedman each contributed two goals, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Chiefs' clinical finishing.
