Tough Draw for Bermuda in Concacaf World Cup Final Round

IslandStats.com
The path to the 2026 FIFA World Cup has become clearer for Bermuda, as the island nation has been drawn into Group B for the Final Round of the Concacaf Qualifiers. They will face formidable regional opponents in Jamaica, Curaçao, and Trinidad & Tobago.

The Final Round of the Concacaf Qualifiers will feature 12 teams, divided into three groups of four. Each team will compete in a total of six matches, playing every other team in their group both home and away during the FIFA Match Windows in September, October, and November 2025.

The stakes in this stage are incredibly high. At the end of the Final Round, the three group winners will secure direct qualification for the FIFA World Cup 2026. They will join the already qualified co-hosts, Canada, Mexico, and the United States.

Adding further excitement, the two best second-place finishers across the three groups will earn a spot in the FIFA Play-Off Tournament, scheduled for March 2026. This means that, for the first time in history, the Concacaf region could potentially be represented by an unprecedented eight teams at the men’s FIFA World Cup.

Bermuda's draw into Group B presents a challenging but exciting prospect, as they will need to overcome strong footballing nations to secure either a direct qualification spot or a play-off berth. The upcoming matches promise intense competition as teams vie for a place on football's biggest stage.
