The Bermuda Basketball Association's season action resumed at a new venue, the Somersfield Academy Gymnasium, with an exciting double header that saw a total of 232 points scored for the enthusiastic crowd.
The opening game of the night saw the Wolfpack secure a narrow 66-60 victory over the New Era Flyboys. Adam McDonald led the charge for the Wolfpack, contributing a valuable 15 points, alongside 6 rebounds and 1 blocked shot. Despite a strong individual performance from Akil Smith of the New Era Flyboys, who poured in a game-high 31 points and also added 4 assists and 2 steals, his efforts weren't enough to secure the win for his team. Jahmair Trott led the Flyboys on the boards with 7 rebounds.
The nightcap saw Caesars Pharmacy the Answer emerge victorious over the Reapers with a 60-46 scoreline. Napthali Smith led the way for the Answer, scoring a game-high 21 points and also pulling down 6 rebounds. For the Reapers, Jason Gonsalves led their scoring with 17 points, while Jacob Estis dominated the boards, grabbing an impressive 14 rebounds.
