Bermudian motorcycle racer Aeziah Divine has completed the Free Practice 1 session ahead of Round 2 of the 2025 R&G British Talent Cup, which has moved from Donington Park to the iconic Silverstone circuit.
Competing at the Silverstone MotoGP British Grand Prix weekend, Divine recorded a time of 2 minutes, 26.507 seconds in the first Free Practice session, placing him 14th overall. He would then clock a time of 2 minutes and 24.291 seconds in the second Free Practice session finishing 17th. The session saw a flurry of fast laps, with MotoGP star Marc Marquez setting a new all-time lap record for the circuit.
While Divine's focus remains firmly on the R&G British Talent Cup action, the atmosphere of the MotoGP event and the opportunity to ride on the legendary Silverstone track will undoubtedly provide valuable experience for the young Bermudian rider. He will be looking to build on the data gathered in Free Practice 1 and improve his lap times in the subsequent practice and qualifying sessions as he prepares for the two races of Round 2. The move to Silverstone presents a new challenge for all the British Talent Cup riders, and Divine will be aiming to make progress throughout the weekend.
