Tyrell Burgess was named to the Sunshine State Conference Second Team All-Star. After dominating the Sunshine State Conference regular season en route to its sixth league title, it’s only fitting the Lynn University men’s soccer team rule with 11 conference honors. Head coach Shaun Pendleton was selected Coach of the Year for the third time while Dwight Barnett and Tim Melia were named Offensive and Defensive Player of the Year. The Knights accumulated eight all-conference awards, highlighted by five first team selections, marking the fourth time in program history Lynn has had eight honorees.
Burgess one of the fastest players in the league, scored four goals and two assists from midfield, including one game-winning goal and one game-winning assist.
