Bermuda Netball Summer League Set to Ignite at the Park

IslandStats.com
The Bermuda Netball Association's highly anticipated Summer League is poised to get underway today, Tuesday, May 13th, bringing a fresh wave of netball action to Bernard's Park. The Summer League offers a platform for both seasoned players and newcomers, featuring two distinct divisions: a competitive Women's Division and an inclusive Co-Ed Division.

To ensure a balanced playing field and encourage wider participation, the league has implemented specific team composition rules. In the Women's Division, each team is limited to fielding a maximum of three players who participated in the recent Winter League. Similarly, the Co-Ed Division allows a maximum of three male players to be on the court for any team at any given time, promoting a mixed and engaging playing environment.

The opening night promises an exciting start to the Women's Division campaign, with a trio of matches scheduled to take center stage. At 6:00 pm, the Lady Stars will face off against K-Net Assets in what is expected to be a keenly contested opener. Simultaneously, on another court, PHC will go head-to-head with Devonshire Rec, setting the tone for the league's competitive spirit. The evening's action will then conclude at 7:00 pm as St. George's Cricket Club take on Law & Disorder, promising a captivating end to the first night of the Summer League.

Netball enthusiasts across Bermuda will be eager to witness the start of this summer's competition, with Bernard's Park set to become a hub of fast-paced and dynamic netball action in the weeks to come. The unique team composition rules add an intriguing element to the league, potentially throwing up some unexpected results and showcasing the depth of netball talent on the island.
