Motorcycle racer John Kacey and his Cleds Shed Motorcycles team experienced a mixed weekend at the Welsh Cathedral of Speed, Pembrey Circuit, for rounds two and three of the fiercely competitive Freetech British Championship.
Despite not participating in the opening two practice sessions, Kacey demonstrated his adaptability and skill in the third practice race for the Moto4 Endurance / Production 125 Endurance / Streetstock Endurance classes. On just his second lap, Kacey clocked an impressive time of 1:26.988, securing a commendable third-place finish in the session. This strong showing hinted at the potential for a successful weekend despite the limited track time.
That promise was realized in the main Moto4 Endurance / Production 125 Endurance / Streetstock Endurance Endurance Race. Kacey and the Cleds Shed Motorcycles team once again showcased their competitive edge, battling hard throughout the endurance event. The grueling endurance race saw Kacey and his team complete a significant 225 laps of the challenging Pembrey circuit. While they ultimately finished nine laps behind the race winner, their podium finish is a testament to their resilience, teamwork, and Kacey's riding prowess.
