Uphill Castle Cricket Club announced the signing of Bermuda’s Chare Smith for the 2023 season.
Smith will join the UK-based team in April after he concludes playing in Australia where he is currently playing A Grade Cricket for Kyabram Fire Brigade Cricket Club
The club's social media page states, “Uphill Castle is delighted to announce the player sponsorship of overseas Chare Smith for the 2023 season by P.B. Holyday & Son Roofing Ltd.

Smith has represented Frenchay Cricket Club in the Bristol and District Premier Cricket League. Most recently in the 2022 season, Smith took 37 wickets and scored 330 runs, proving to be a key part in the title-winning side seeing Frenchay promoted back to WEPL.
