The Island Soccer League play-off’s get underway on Friday June 29, 2007 at the National Sports Center. In the 7:00pm opener the Royal will take on the Union, during the regular season one goal separated the teams as the Union defeated the Royal 5 – 4. This game will see Union’s Rohaan Simons who scored 15 goals, against the Royal’s Jelani Butterfield who scored 13 goals. The Winners of this math will advance to the semi-finals to meet the Knights.
The 8:30pm game will see Apex taking on the Storm, the Storm won the regular season fixture 8-7. ISL Top goal scorer Heyes Wolfe will spearhead the Apex attack, Wolfe scored 18 times during the regular season, capped off by 5 goals on the final night of the regular season. The Storm have Antoine Russell who scored 17 goals. The Storm will also look to Otis Minors who scored 9 goals, while Vernon Tankard who scored 8 goals will be a threat for Apex. The winner will then face off against the Kings in the other semi-final.
