Smith has come close to opening the scoring but his drive from the edge of the box was saved by Trojans goalkeeper Adrian Burrows. In the 10th minute, Cymande Davis in goal for the Hornets was called upon to make a save from a Meschac Wade header. Two minutes later Burrows tipped a drive from Jared Peniston over the bar.
Lashun Dill has put Dandy Town Hornets ahead 1 – 0 in the 43rd minute of the first half. Dill beat Burrows with low shot to his left.
Hayes Wolfe has put the Hornets up 2 – 0, Wolfe found some space just outside the box and curled a left footed shot that gave Burrows no chance. Dandy Town substitute Nakia Wells has scored with a right footed shot that went in off a defender to make the score 3 – 0. The referee has blown the final whistle as Dandy Town finish 4th on 21 points, while Somerset Trojans drop to 5th with 19 points.
