The Bermuda Brazilian Football School opened up day three with a 7-2 win over Hillerslev IF of Denmark. The Bermuda Brazilian Football School having recorded 2 wins and a draw previously closed out as winners of group 57 with 10 points.
Richard Jones Jr. scored a fine hat-trick, while Eric Correia and Rahzir Smith-Jones scored two goals apiece to take the Bermuda Brazilian Football School into the quarter finals as group winners.
The Bermuda Brazilian Football School next reached the Semi-Final of the Vildbjerg Cup (Europe's 4 largest youth tournament) via a very close two 2-1 win over Mariner from Denmark.
The Bermuda Brazilian Football School fell behind 1-0 after 10 minutes and squandered two scoring opportunities. In the second half, they would hit back with goals by Jarryd Richardson and Micah Mendes.
The first goal was via Jarryd Richardson who was moved from left back to striker with 10 minutes to go in the second half. Richardson beat his marker and placed a wonderful bender past the keeper.
Mendes came on in the second half right back and hit the winner with a side foot half volley, over the keeper into the roof of the net.

Blankendal said, “The Bermuda Brazilian Football School fought for the next 5 minutes and when the whistle was blown we celebrated by shouting Bda,Bda,Bda!”
“Acting as global ambassadors for Bermuda via the Department of Tourism, the boys have been encouraging many of the teams and their parents to visit Bermuda. The Bermuda Brazilian Football School also have the 'Bermuda, So Much More' logo on our playing kits and travel shirts,” continued Blankendal.
"We continue to exceed all of our team and club objectives and will play in the semis tomorrow morning at 03:00 am.
The boys are exhausted but look forward to creating history for Bermuda and The Bermuda Brazilian Football School."
