www.islandstats.com can confirm that the Bermuda National Men’s Basketball Team will be playing two games against the Pro team Buffalo Warriors May 17th and 22nd in Buffalo.
National coach Roderick Spencer said, “We are taking about 14 or 15 guys. All but 3 are players that have been part of our last Island Games and or Caribbean Basketball Conference teams with a few new faces that we are looking at.”
Spencer when asked how this came about said, “This came about after a talk I had with Terrence Dill, we needed games and the Buffalo Warriors were looking to fill a hole in their schedule.”
Spence went on to say, “We are definitely open to hosting them here in Bermuda but like always it will come down to funding,” when asked if Bermuda could host the Buffalo Warriors.
And to the question about when will Bermuda get a chance to see the top players all on the court at the same time, “To be honest I don't known when Bermuda will see our best team play.”
