Khano Smith hopes to be fit, as the New England Patriots and New England Revolution announced today that the teams will host the 2006 Sports Management and Entertainment Career Fair at Gillette Stadium at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 30. The event will be held in conjunction with the Revolution’s 2006 MLS home opener vs. the Chicago Fire, which kicks off at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 30.
Craig Tornberg, General Manager of the New England Revolution said, “We appreciate as much promo and info for our very great supporters from Bermuda”. Tornberg went on to say, “I would just like to say that the Bermuda pre season, from a standpoint of players, coaches, administration, sponsors and our fans, was a great success”. Bermuda and all the Bermudians there, make us feel incredibly welcome...it is like a home away from home for us”, said Tornberg.
This career fair is open to any individuals interested in pursuing a career in the sports and entertainment industry. Representatives from a variety of the major and minor league professional teams, sports apparel companies, media companies, and public relations/advertising agencies will be on-hand to answer questions about internship and job opportunities. The registration cost is $25. The fee includes one ticket to the Career Fair, complimentary parking, one General Admission ticket to the Revolution v. Chicago Fire match (following the Career Fair).
