The countdown for the start of Island Soccer League is underway ISL Commissioner David Bascome said, "We have just agreed to terms with Just for Kicks a sports apparel company from Bermuda, they will be our main apparel sponsor for the ISL 2007 season". Bascome went on to say, "They will custom design all the jerseys for the league and also help create the professional image that we are looking for, we are very excited to have Jonathan Eve and his company Just for Kicks on board".
"With five companies to choose from we decided on Just for Kicks, one because it is a local company and two because we are very please with the product they are going to be supplying the league, they are already in the process of creating the team designs and also an ISL jersey which will be on sale June 1st 2006" said Bascome.
Bascome went on to say, "At this point we have finished the final draft for the Player combine application which will be out the end of April, all players interested in playing in the league must fill the player application out in full, players must understand that if any application is not fully filled out they will prolong there application approval".
Bascome finished by saying, "We had made a change with the ISL Super Draft set up, and that is by adding a Player Combine, players will participate in a player combine which is like an evaluation so the 8 coaches of the ISL teams can get a chance to see them in a small sided game and have a chance to look at the players skill level and their sharpness for the small sided game. the combine will also give players an equal chance to get selected by the coaches".
