CONCACAF will send men's four teams to the 2011 Pan American Games to be held in Guadalajara, Mexico, October 13th – 30th. In addition to Mexico, one team each from Central America and the Caribbean - the highest finisher from each at the 2011 CONCACAF Under-20 Championship - will qualify. The final berth will be awarded to the next-best Central American or Caribbean finisher at the U-20s. The U-20 Championship will be held in Guatemala from April 3-17, 2011.
Eagles Matches Postponed
The Bermuda Football Association has announced a decision taken by the Competitions Committee to postpone the following matches as a result of Somerset Eagles unable to field four players due to their involvement with the Bermuda U-20 National team who will be competing in the FIFA World Cup Qualifying Tournament between October 16th and October 25th, 2010:
Somerset Eagles Games Postponed
• Premier Match: Sunday - October 17th vs. Devonshire Colts • Dudley Eve Match: Thursday – October 21st vs. North Village Rams • Premier Match: Sunday – October 24th vs. PHC Zebras
This decision is in keeping with the Association’s policy which allows for any team with 4 or more players representing Bermuda during international or other official events may request to have their matches postponed.
