Katrina Williams and the Old Dominion women's sailing team begins the fall right where it ended at nationals last spring - ranked No. 3 in the nation.
Old Dominion, who posted a third-place result at the Inter-Collegiate Sailing Association (ICSA) Women's Dinghy National Championships, begin the 2010-11 season third in Sailing World's collegiate rankings.
The Old Dominion Coed team was placed No. 12 in the pre-season rankings. The rankings are determined by an open coach’s poll.
Boston College begins the year first in both polls and claimed all 14 first-place votes in the coed poll. Old Dominion trail only Boston College and Brown University in the women's poll.
