Rory Caslin - Irish Optimist National Championship
Caslin is taking part in the Irish Optimist National Championship, Waterford Harbor Yacht Club, Dunmore East, Co. Waterford. Caslin had a good first day finishing 9th overall after two races.
Caslin finished the first race in 9th and then followed that performance with an 11th place finish in the 61 Optimist boat Fleet.

Approximately 480 boats are competing in various classes at the CORK International Regatta, Kingston, Canada.
Bermuda has 3 sailors in the 96 boat Fleet Optimist Class and 1 in the 98 boat Fleet Club 420 Class.
After six races in the Optimist Class in very windy conditions and big seas the Bermuda sailors are performing very well. Ellie Wollmann is leading the Bermuda team in 2nd place overall with15 points. Ellie Wollmann won the first two races before recording a 5th and 6th place finish in the next two races. Ellie Wollmann finished 2nd in the fifth race, before finishing 6th in the 6th race. Ceci Wollmann is currently in 23rd with 102 points. Ceci Wollmann has finishes of 27th, 21st, 17th, 22nd, 15th and one On the Course Side start and younger brother Mickey Wollmann is in 29th place overall and leading the white fleet 10 and under Division. Mickey Wollmann started off with a 53rd place finish, but since he has had finishes of 32nd, 33rd, 29th, 14th, 21st and 29th.
The three Club 420 Class races Mackenzie Cooper finds himself 7th overall with 36 points. Cooper finishes of 5th in the first race, then 8th in the second, before finishing 4th in the third race.
