The Second race of the Wednesday Night Third Series of racing got underway in the Hamilton Harbor. Some 32 boats went to the start line, with Nasty Medicinerecording the fastest time of the night crossing the line in 1:12.33, but with their corrected time of 1:19.09 saw them finish Ninth overall on the night.
Addiction recorded the second fastest time of the evening clocking 1:19.26 and with their corrected time of 1:11.47 saw them finish First overall, Stinger JS9000 with their corrected time of 1:15.32 saw them finish in Third.
The Ernst & Young 2010 USODA New England Championship hosted by Sail Newport continued withChase Cooper and Ellie Wollmann participating on the waters of Narragansett Bay and Newport among one of the largest fleets consisting of 330 boats.
On Day Two Wollmann moved up two spots from 28th to the 26th position overall. Wollmann had finishes of 17th, 7th 3rd, 15th and 14th in the days five races to finish the day with 72 points.
Cooper also moved up the standing from 133rd to 127th with 238 points. Cooper had finishes of 7th, 23rd, 34th and 32nd, Cooper did not start the fourth race of the day.
