This evening, a calm returned early in the Optimist Base Camp after day two of the German Nationals Optimist Championships, the sailors spent approximately seven hours out on the lake. The weather was ideal mostly sunny, to strong westerly wind, which grew and sometimes turned when a dark cloud hovering over the race course package.
Sam Stan on Day Two has fallen from 22nd to 30th with 94 points after finishes of 40th, 9th, 16th and 21st. Meanwhile Hannah Horsefield jumped up the leaderboard from 169th to 135th in a Fleet of 201 sailors. Horsefield finished the four races today in 9th, 56th, 37th and 38th to finish with 222 points.
