Day - 4 World Championship Regatta
Jesse and Zander Kirkland had a rough day during Silver Fleet racing in the Seiko 49er World Championship Regatta going on in the waters of Grand Bahamas Sailing Club.

With the weather forecast calling for sunny with winds 8-10 knots, the first signal for the 49er Silver fleet went off at 10am. The intention is to have the Silver fleet race 2 races in the morning, come in so the Gold Fleet can race 3 races, and then have Silver go back out for 2 more races. At the end of the day the Kirklands finished 35th.

The Regatta Fleet was divided into two groups the Gold Fleet and Silver Fleet with the Kirkland’s starting the day 30th in the Silver Fleet. In the first race of the day the Kirklands did not finish and the brothers did not compete in the second race. The Silver Fleet after a break went back out onto the waters for two more races, with the Kirklands finishing 28th and they did not finish the final race of the day.
