Chesterfield striker Jack Lester missed a late penalty as his side slipped to a 2-1 defeat at Smith’s Lincoln.
Smith was not in the Lincoln City team that got first-half goals from Cian Hughton and Delroy Facey put them in charge before Scott Bowden pulled one back for the visitors late on. Lester then blazed his 87th-minute spot-kick over the bar as Lincoln held on for a first win in 10 games.
Reggie Lambe – Ipswich Town
Lambe’s Ipswich Town's long unbeaten record in the Coca-Cola Championship came to an end after Crystal Palace came from behind to beat them 3 - 1.
Lambe is presently in Bermuda preparing to face Trinidad & Tobago Olympic Team that will arrive this evening.
Ipswich took a deserved lead when Jaime Peters took advantage of a goalkeeping error to score, but after Jose Fonte scrambled Neil Warnock's men level, Jon Stead was unluckily sent-off to leave Ipswich a man short for 50 minutes.
Neil Danns and Victor Moses took advantage to score second-half goals for Palace and leave Ipswich looking over their shoulders at the relegation zone after a first defeat since October 3.
