The Old Dominion University women's sailing team finished third at the Navy Fall Women's Intersectional, completed in Annapolis, Md. Additionally, Old Dominion sailor Kevin Shockey placed sixth at the MAISA Men's Singlehanded Championships.
At the women's intersectional, Stephanie Roble, Ashley Pellerito and Ashley Brusso totaled 72 points for a third place finish in the A Division, while Morgan Wilson and Arianna Baker garnered 95 points for a fifth place B Division finish. Senior skipper Katrina Williams won the C Division with 42 points, besting second place by seven points.
In the 16 races, the A Division trio finished in the top-five in 10, including a victory in the final race. Wilson and Baker won two races in the B Division and Williams won two races in the C Division to go along with 10 top-five results.
