Ten minutes into this USL 2nd Division match at the National Sports Center saw the visitors go in front in the 10th minute. A long throw was flicked on and Tony Labudouski’s shot went in at the back post. Two minutes later the Hogges almost drew level but Domico Coddington’s header from close range was saved by Danny Waltman> in the Riverhounds goal. In the 20th minute Riverhounds striker Randolph Jerome had a shot from some 25 yards out go just over the crossbar. The half continued with both teams committing fouls. In the 45th minute while everyone’s attention was on an off the ball incident Tenywa Bonseu scored a diving header for the Riverhounds to double their lead.
The Hogges made two changes to start the second half, Stephen Astwood and Sammy DeGraff made way for Seion Darrell and Tokia Russell. Both teams have spent most of the second half battling in the midfield as neither goalkeeper has been called upon in the first twenty minutes of the second half. In the 86th minute Lloyd Holder out jumped the Riverhounds defense to head the Hogges back into the game from a Lashon Dill corner.
