In this First Division, Roger Lee gave Somerset Eagles the lead in the 7th minute, Roger Brangman doubled the score ten minutes later. The score remained 2 - 0 at the break, Mackie Crane headed St. George's Colts back into the game in the 66th minute but they could not find the equalizer as Somerset Eagles hung on for the victory.

Home team Somerset Trojans took the lead in the 13th minute when Dane Benjamin scored from outside the box. Benjamin on the right side looked to be crossing the ball and it eluded the X’Road’s goalkeeper and dropped in the back of the net. Somerset Trojans captain Jelani Scott and Benjamin both had shots come back off the crossbar in the first half.
In the 75th minute Butterfield caught X’Road’s off guard, a foul was blown some 5 yards outside the box and while the defense and goalkeeper set up the wall Butterfield curled his free kick into the net.
