www.islandstats.com can confirm that Pakistan born Canadian opener Rizwan Cheema has joined his Canadian teammates in Fort Lauderdale.
Cheema was not selected in either Canadian team that playing in the West Indies tournament in Guyana or for this ICC Americas tournament team in Fort Lauderdale.
Recently married Cheema now has the approval to now joined his teammates in his first overseas tour as a member of the Canadian National Team.
Canada’s team has a few injuries and with all the paperwork cleared Cheema headed to Fort Lauderdale, now it remains to be seen if his form can continue.
Canada will play USA tomorrow, before taking on the defending champions Bermuda on Sunday.
