The Bermuda Ball Hockey League season resumed at the PCC Hockey Rink with a double header that produced a total of 8 goals on the night.
Frontier 2 ACT 1
In the opener, Frontier needed a shoot-out goal to edge ACT 2 – 1.
Neither team scored in the first period, but at the end of the second period, it was 1 – 1. Curran Trenouth gave Frontier the lead before Sean McNulty equalized for ACT.
Neither team would find the back of the net in the third period forcing the match into a shoot-out, with John King scoring the Frontier winner.
Appleby 1 Positive Image Dental 4
In the nightcap, Positive Image Dental defeated Appleby 4 – 1.
Chris Allington scored twice and Ian Beaudoin added another in the first period to give Positive Image Dental a 3 – 0 lead.
Neither team scored in the second period, but Appleby would pull a goal back in the third period with a goal off the stick of James Amaral, but Tom Duggan would restore the Positive Image Dental three-goal lead for the win.
