The four team Field Hockey Tournament continued at the National Sports Center with fourteen goals scored on the second day.
The Tournament sees the Bermuda Women’s National team taking on USA High School teams, with the Sound Shore Tigers narrowly leading after two days of play on goal difference.
In Game #3 of the tournament the Sound Shore Tigers defeated Mt St Abrams 9 - 1.
The Sound Shore Tigers got two goals apiece from Laine Pearson and Sophie Brill, while Brigid Knowles, Elizabeth Brissette, Sophie Leighton, Hanley Hannah and Giselle Ciulla all added single strikes. Dayna Hornung scored the lone strike for Mt. St Abrams.
In the second game of the day the Bermuda Women’s National team defeated Staples 3 - 1, Bermuda took the lead in the 14th minute with a Field Goal off the stick of Tihanna Booth, six minutes later it was 2 - 0 when Jennifer Beech scored from a Short Corner. Two minutes later it was 2 - 1 with Jalen Cook scoring a Field Goal for the Staples. Maya Palacio scored the lone goal in the second half which cae in the 45th minute earning Bermuda the 3 - 1 win.
