British Olympic medalist Georgia Taylor-Brown showed magnificent form to claim the first victory of the year at the 2022 World Triathlon Championship Series Yokohama, a win that puts her for now on top of the Maurice Lacroix World Triathlon Rankings.
Her powerful run was only contested by France’s Leonie Periault, who claimed the second place, while Olympic Champion Dame Flora Duffy had to battle hard to finish in third place.
Taylor-Brown clocked a time of 1:51:44, with Periault crossing the line clocking 1:51:50, and Duffy was clocked at 1:51:55.
