Competing in the Men’s Triathlon, Pilgrim finished 23rd as Brazilian Miguel Lopes Hidalgo stormed to victory.
Hidalgo clocked a winning time of 56:40, Eduardo Nuñez Gomez from Mexico was second in 5:01, and Cesar Xavier Criollo Matute from Ecuador finished third with a time of 59:13.
Pilgrim clocked a time of 1:00:05, he clocked 22:32 on the Swim, before finishing with a time of 30:36 on the Bike, before closing out with a Run time of 9:35.
