Duffy wrote, "I have been so overwhelmed by the love and support I have received since the race. Thank you, thank you.
I was so focused on performing in the race that I didn’t quite prepare myself for what would happen if I won- or how much it would mean to so many - it has been a whirlwind! In the best possible sense.
I have taken the last few days to let it all soak in, rest, and catch up on some sleep!
Next up for me are the final two World Triathlon series events- both in Canada. I believe I have a shot at the World Champ title, and that would be amazing. So as much as I would love to be back celebrating in Bermuda right now, I’ll have to wait a few more weeks."
