Tyler Smith in Arzachena IslandStats.com It was another fantastic World Cup with a stellar line up in Arzachena, but the result was a familiar one. Vincent Luis has been imperious since the return to racing in Hamburg in September and though Norway’s Kristian Blummenfelt pushed him all the way on Saturday afternoon, it was a third gold for the Frenchman. Completing the podium, Britain’s Alistair Brownlee showed he will still mix it with the best after a strong finish earned him bronze.
As www.islandstats.com reported earlier this week, Tyler Smith was taking part in this event as well and he finished in the top half of the 64 men field finishing 26th with a time of 56:46.
Smith clocked 9:19 on the Swim, he then had a time of 30:36 on the Bike, before closing out with a Run time of 16:18.
