In what can only be described as an awesome morning and a huge success, the inaugural Bank of Bermuda Foundation, Bermuda Triathlon Association’s Mixed Team Relay Event took place in St. George's.
22 teams (10 Open, 10 Family and 2 School teams) lined up to participate.
Action was fast and furious as youth and veteran triathletes alike giving it their all on the 200m Swim alongside Ordnance Island in the Harbor, a 4.5km Bike Course out and back on York St./Mullet Bay Rd and a 1.2km run along Water St/Penno's Wharf.
The Open Category was won by the team of Fenella Wightman, Tommy Marshall, Jessie Marshall and Nick Pilgrim in a time of 1:18:52.
First School team (and second overall) was composed of Warwick Academy's Daria Desmond, Callum MacFarland, Bella Howes, and Rory Fleming, they clocked 1:22.15.
The winner of the Family category was Dominic Wright, Jacob Wright, Caroline Wright, and Adam Hopkin who clocked 1:29.24.
