As we continue the countdown to the CARIFTA Triathlon and Aquathlon which will take place September 28th & 29th in Tobago will see Bermuda represented by 20 athletes.

Liana Medeiros – 13-15 Girls Triathlon and Aquathlon
Medeiros is 14 years old and has been doing triathlons since she was 7. She enjoys all 3 disciplines individually, but particularly enjoys combining all of them into one sport. Medeiros has raced both at home and internationally, but this will be her first Carifta games and she is very much looking forward to competing.
Nicholas Pilgrim – 13-15 Boys Triathlon and Aquathlon
Like most of the Bermuda team, Pilgrim was introduced to triathlon through membership of Tri-hedz, following his older siblings into the sport. He competes both locally and overseas in the USAT youth elite series in the US and in Canada. He is a member of Harbour Swim Club, Maac Jr running club and Bicycle Works Cycling team. He received Bermuda’s Youth Triathlete of the Year award in 2017 and is very much looking forward to representing Bermuda in Tobago.
Caleb Ingham – 13-15 Boys Triathlon and Aquathlon
Ingham has been involved with the sport of triathlon since the age of 7, competing both locally and internationally in the USAT youth elite series. He is also a competitive swimmer and medaled representing Bermuda at the CCCAN Swimming Championships this summer. Caleb regularly competes in local running races, most notably, the Front Street mile. He is looking forward to competing at Carifta this year and proud to be representing Bermuda.
