The first race of the 2024 Legends Race Series, the Ed Sherlock 8k race, will take place on Sunday, February 11th starting and finishing at Southampton Rangers Club. This will be the 32nd year of the race and we look forward to having Mr. Sherlock (92) to start it.
The Swan's Running Club's 7th annual series will consist of:
• Ed Sherlock 8k - Sunday, February 11th
• Ray Swan 8K - Sunday, March 24th
• Ludwig Cann 10k - April 7th
• Stanley Burgess 5k - May 5th
Participants in the series must compete in 3 out of 4 races to be eligible for a Legends Race medal and shirt. Overall male and female winners of the series will receive a Legends trophy and $1000. All participants that complete the series are eligible for the draw prizes that consist of:
• Entry, plane ticket, 3 night hotel stay in Atlanta, George\ia for the AJC Peachtree 10K Road Race -the largest 10k in the world - July 4th, 2024
• One-(1) night stay at Rosewood Tucker's Point in a Harbour View King Room with a sixty-(60) minute Signature “Cedar Warming Massage" treatment at Sense Spa
• One (1) night stay at Newstead/ Belmont Hills in a One Bedroom Suite
• One night's weekend stay at Hamilton Princess with breakfast in Crown & Anchor for two
• Two (2) MEF Group of Restaurants gift cards at $125.00 each

This year proceeds from the Legends series will go to local charity Open Airways who are dedicated to improving the health and well-being of over 8,000 people in Bermuda whose lives are affected by asthma and other long-term breathing difficulties.
