Led by the stellar play of goalie Josh Anthony, defenseman Josiah Greve, midfielder Drew Jenkins and attackman Brock Riemenschneider, the Somerset squad took the hardware home for the west side of the island at the 2016 Bermuda Lacrosse King of De Rock Tournament, at the National Sports Center. Somerset went 4-0 over the two-day event, turning back defending champs St. George’s 7-4 in the final game to decide the victors. While Riemenschneider led scorers with six goals, the goal of the day went to Ken Winford, who finished a behind-the-back feed from Mark Matthews with his own BTB shot. Greve was a particular standout at the defensive end, aggressively throwing checks, picking up passes and scooping ground balls. He and Riemenschneider are standouts for Baldwin Wallace, a DIII program in Northeast Ohio that finished 14-3 last spring. Led by attackmen Armand Wilson, Jeremy Noble and Wes Berg, defenseman Bobby Smith and goalie Andrew DiLoreto, St. George's finished 2-2.
