The Arboretum was the scene of the Bermuda National Athletics Association’s 2015 Cross Country Series Meet.
With a large field in both the Juniors and the Adults, runners weaved their way through a difficult course set up inside the Grounds.
Iziah Tucker won the Under 14 Boys 2 Mile Run race with a time of 12:42.6, Clevonte Lodge was second in 13:03.9 and Ryan Outerbridge finished third clocking a time of 13:17.5.
During the Under 14 Girls 2 Miles Run was won by Selah Tuzo who recorded a time of 13:50.8. The Under 20 Boys 3 Miles Run saw Akim Johnston run to victory with a time of 20:08.7, while Lawrence Fox finished second in 22:02.4. Larry Marshall won the Men’s Open 4 Miles Run recording a time of 23:11.8, Darico Clarke was second in 25:03.7, while Jose Miranda finished third with a time of 27:08.3.
Tamika Miranda won the Women’s Open 3 Miles Run crossing the line in a time of 23:54.0 and Rachael Rothwell finished second in 26:37.3.
