Juma Mouchette and his Virginia State University Men's and Women's Cross Country teammates competed in the Virginia Union University Meet. The Men finished in second place with 61 points and a average time of 35:47.6 while the women placed fourth with 67 points and a average time of 26:41.0.
Sophomore Mouchette led Virginia State University, finishing 6th with a time of 36:06.9. Teammate junior Justin Williams was not to far behind with a time of 32:24.9, finishing in 8th place.
Virginia State University Cross Country rookie Ronisha Dennis led the Women finishing 5th with a time of 22:35.7. Teammate and cross country rookie Paris Cotman was not to far behind placing 10th with a tine of 25:22.4.
