Two weeks from today hundreds of runs will depart Somerset to make their way with a goal to finish at the Bernard Park.
Changes have been made to the start and the finish of the race and the reason for the change is explained by the Bermuda Day Half Marathon Derby Chairperson Dr. Gina Tucker, “When it rains Bernard Park gets flooded in the area of the finish line, so the thought process was to move the finish forward.”
The Bermuda Day Half Marathon will be celebrating its 105th running and Dr. Tucker believes it’s an honor to be part of one of the country’s biggest events.
