The Swan’s Running Club is holding the annual Ludwig Cann 5K Race at Astwood Park, Warwick this Sunday April 13th 2014. Ludwig Cann was known as “Luddy” by his many friends. In his later life he became an ever-present and instantly recognizable figure on the Island’s running scene, often dressed in colorful outfits and running t-shirts he customized himself with tassels.
Swan’s Running Club is working to keep Mr. Cann’s spirit alive by organizing this annual race and on the day of the race presents a prize to the person wearing the best “Luddy” Cann outfit.
Swan’s Club invites everyone preparing for the Bermuda Day Relay and the beat the couch run to come out and be a part of this annual event.
