THE KPMG Invitational Mile Trials, took place at the National Sports Center, the top 20 in each category qualified to compete on Front Street Mile on Friday January 17th, 2014.
Jade Johnston ran to victory in the Primary School Girls race clocking a time of 6:08.1, Jessica Bruton finished second crossing the line in 6:16.4 and hot on her heels was Tilda Norman who finished third in 6:16.9.
Nicholas Pilgrim won the Primary School Boys race crossing the line in 5:54.8, Daniel Cook finished second with a time of 6:07.4 and T'Syi Showers finished third in 6:07.4.
Ashley Estwanik, Deon Breary and Jennifer Alen finished 1, 2 and 3 in the Women’s Adult race, Alen making a return to action clocked 5:50.1, Estwanik clocked 5:26.7, while Breary clocked 5:43.1.
In the Adult Men’s race Trey Simons continues his pace in his comeback clocking a time of 4:35.6 to take the line honors, while Stephen Allen finished second in 4:49.2 and Jose Miranda finished third clocking a time of 4:50.2.
