The North America, Central America and Caribbean Athletic Association (NACAC) Cross Country Championships have been announced, the event will take place March 17th, 2012 in Trinidad and Tobago.
Last year the Bermuda Senior & Junior Men's Cross Country Teams competed in Trinidad during the NACAC Cross Country Championships.
The Junior Boys finished 5th out of 12 teams with Juma Mouchette finished the 6K distance in 29th with a time of 21.30.01, while Shawn Herman finished 31st with a time of 21.56.58. Dage Minors finished 32nd clocking 22.00.00, while Trey Simons finished 33rd in 22.13.34.
The Senior Men finished 6th out of 18 teams with the USA placing 1st, Canada 2nd, Trinidad 3rd, Jamaica 4th, Grenada 5th and then Bermuda. Jay Donawa covered the 8K distance in 26.16.2 to finish 19th, Sean Trott was 26th clocking 26.42.1. Finishing 32nd was Chayce Smith with a time of 27.23.5 and Darico Clarke finished 40th with a time of 28.36.5.
